Asset Panda has fit the bill for our asset tracking and management needs. We were previously using an Excel spreadsheet to track our assets. That method didn’t work for us. It was filled with all sorts of data entry problems that hindered many of our daily operations. Not to mention that the manual data entry was time-consuming, inaccurate and we were unable to enter our data away from the office.

Asset Panda has been amazing. It has changed the way we track and manage our assets. First and foremost, no more manual entry … which means no more data entry mistakes! The data is now reliable, easily accessible, and up to date. We don’t have to guess as to where an asset is, who has it and its maintenance history. We also are not reliant on waiting for someone else to enter their data and hope that it’s been entered correctly. All of the relevant data our teams need about any of our assets can be accessed from one central location whether employees are out in the field or at the office.

Asset Panda has sped up the processing practice of checking our equipment in and out by 100%. Assets are distributed across multiple work sites but are supposed to come back to one central location before they are reissued to the new site. With a simple scan, we can view and track the movement of each asset and ensure that our employees are following that practice. No more lost or misplaced assets which can be very costly to replace if not tracked accurately. We can also set alerts/reminders to calibrate our equipment, which is a crucial action needed to ensure our equipment is working correctly and is in excellent condition. The option to attach the calibration certificate to each piece of equipment in Asset Panda has been fantastic.

When it comes to moving assets to/from job sites, Asset Panda is a breeze thanks to the mobile app and barcode scanning capabilities. Employees can access Asset Panda right from their own smartphones and enter or update data on any asset loaded to the software directly from the app. Because Asset Panda has sped up so many of our once time-consuming processes, I have more time to work on compliance and quality control of our assets.

The Asset Panda customer support is great. If I ever have a problem, the support team is always quick, efficient and friendly -- never seen better! Asset Panda gives us the capability to view the entire lifecycle of an asset and see how it’s used, where it’s used, how often it’s used and how it’s holding up to the working conditions it’s exposed to. Asset Panda gets a solid 10 from me!
